“N-c-cure”? Then “B-c-cure” by knowing “who you are” and “Whose you are.” There is freedom in knowing “who you are” … you are a son / daughter of the Living God.
FREEDOM comes in knowing that we are positioned in the family of God. How? That’s where the “Whose we are” anchors our family ties; we are in the family of God since we have been bought with a price – the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:19,20). Now, don’t check out on me...this is no sermon.
Knowing, embracing, acting upon “who you are” and “Whose you are” silences the insecurities that this world offers and attempts to place upon you.
- What can separate you from His love – fact: nothing … Romans 8:38,39
- God must be finished with me – fact: no He is at work in you and through you … Philippians 1:6
- God could never love me – fact: God loves you … Romans 5:8
- I’ve got to be perfect and do good works to be in God’s family – fact: Grace alone … Ephesians 2:8,9
- God doesn’t know who I am – fact: He knew you even before you were born … Psalm 139, Psalm 103
Now, you know that I mean there is no room for insecurity when we are secure in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord!
